Introducing the Menu at EL Sazón
EL Sazón, nestled in the heart of Mexico City's Centro Histórico, offers an authentic taste of Mexican cuisine with a thoughtful menu blending traditional flavors and fresh ingredients. The menu shines with vibrant salads like the Insalata César Con Pollo, featuring marinated grilled chicken and parmesan, and the Mediterranean-inspired Insalata Mediterránea with feta and olives.
The focus on homemade sauces elevates the pizzas—classic Margherita with fresh basil and mozzarella, a savory Pepperoni, and the indulgent Quatro Formaggi echo Italian influence but with a Mexican twist. Pasta selections like the spicy tomato Pasta Con Salsa De Tomate and creamy Pasta Carbonara offer comforting, hearty options.
What truly stands out is EL Sazón's commitment to authenticity and affordability, drawing mainly locals and visitors seeking genuine flavors. Portions are generous, service efficient, and the ambiance casual yet warm, making it a must-visit for those wanting real Mexican culinary experiences beyond the tourist trail.

The reviews are accurate! This is a good, clean and affordable restaurant to try Mexican food from various regions in Mexico. The majority of the guests are Mexican tourists or locals and that makes for an authentic experience. The service is outstanding, the prices are very reasonable and the size of the portions is large. I would say that the flavor of the food is good, not outstanding, but consistent and good quality. I definitely would recommend this restaurant.
